They speak first. The hello is there before your visitor types a word. Browsers keep a page silent until the visitor taps or presses a key, so the greeting is spoken out loud from their first tap.
They are voice-first and hands-free. A visitor talks, and the host answers out loud. Nobody has to hunt for a form or a button.
The microphone belongs to the visitor. It opens only when a visitor presses Talk, never before. The browser asks the visitor's permission before the agent can hear them. A visitor with no microphone or speaker can type instead.
They walk you to the next step. A host answers from what it was taught, then points to the one thing worth doing next.
The face costs nothing to keep on screen. The face is drawn by your visitor's own browser instead of streamed from a server. That is why a live avatar runs at $0 a minute. You pay for the thinking, never for the face being visible.
