The shelf is the public marketplace of agents. It is the page a stranger browses, and it does not require an account — signed out, you see the same agents.
What has to be true before an agent appears
Three conditions, and all three have to hold:
-
It has a web address. Every card on the shelf links to the agent's own page at
/agent/{its address}, so an agent without one cannot have a working card. The address is built for you at creation from the agent's name. - It is published, or listed for the marketplace. Publishing from the deploy page is the ordinary route — see Publish it.
- It has a current presence identity — the alive profile written at creation. Every agent made through the creation flow has one from the moment it exists.
An agent created through the flow and then published satisfies all three, and shows up. In a walk of exactly that sequence, a freshly created and published agent appeared on the shelf for both the signed-in owner and a signed-out visitor.
If yours is missing, the usual answer is the second condition: it was created but never published. A private agent is deliberately absent — that is the whole point of private.
Finding it once it is there
The shelf carries a search box and category filters across the top. Searching matches on the agent's name, its description, and its category, so the name you gave it is the fastest way back to it.
The shelf has three pages: Web AI Agents, Phone Agents and Alive Avatars. You can sort newest first, or cheapest or dearest first. Every agent on it is an AI agent, and says so.
Buying from the shelf
The shelf holds two kinds of thing:
- Agents are complete assistants with a job already shaped. Choose one when you want speed.
- Skills are smaller add-ons that give an agent you already own one new ability.
Before you buy, talk to the agent with a real question from your own work, not a demo question, and ask yourself three things: does it already understand the job, is the tone right for your audience, and how much would you change? A paid agent shows Buy Now and goes through checkout. Once it is yours, treat it as a strong first draft: review its settings, add your own knowledge, test it in chat or voice, then publish it where you need it.

Skills live in the skill marketplace (sign in), which needs you signed in. You can filter by category (Business, Creative, Customer Service, Marketing, Personal, Research, Technical) and sort by newest, most installed or cost. A free skill installs straight away; a paid one goes through checkout first. To sell a skill of your own, open one of your agents and use its Sell Skills on Marketplace section; each skill is reviewed before it is listed.
What a visitor sees when they click the card
The card leads to the agent's own page — its face, what it can do, and a chat box to try it in. A visitor can talk to it there without signing in, up to a trial limit the page enforces itself.
That page is the thing you are actually publishing. It is worth opening it yourself, signed out, in a private window: it is the first impression, and it is not the same view you get as its owner.
Two other doors to the same agent
-
/agent/{address}/use— the working door, for someone who wants to get something done rather than read about it. - The embed widget from the deploy page, for putting the agent on a site you already run.
You do not have to choose one. Publishing switches all of them on together.
