You can give Wix visitors a way to meet your NetShow agent. There are two ways to think about it: a link to the agent's own page, and a tag that would place a bubble on your Wix pages.
A Wix site cannot pass NetShow's website verification today. Do not paste the tag on Wix yet. NetShow asks for a proof file at /.well-known/netshow-origin.txt, and Wix does not give you a way to publish that file at that address. If you paste the tag anyway, visitors may see a bubble, but it tells them the door is closed instead of letting them talk to your agent. Use the hosted link below for now.
Wix menu names in this guide are Wix's own as of September 2026 and may move. If you cannot find a menu, search Wix help for “Wix custom code”.
Give visitors a working link now
First publish your agent so visitors can open its page. In your NetShow dashboard, open that agent's Deploy page. Find the Hosted Share Link card and copy the link to the agent's own page. That card describes a direct link that needs no website setup. You can open the copied link yourself to check which agent page your visitors will reach.
In Wix, add a “Button” element to the page where people should meet the agent. Set that button's link to the copied hosted link, and give it clear words such as “Talk to Ava”, using your own agent's name. Publish the Wix page. A visitor can press the button, leave the Wix page, and meet the agent on its NetShow page. The agent greets the visitor there. If the visitor wants to speak, the microphone opens after a tap; a visitor without a microphone or speaker can use the available text path. The link does not need NetShow to verify your Wix domain.
Try the button on a phone as well as a desktop screen. Check that the button is easy to find, opens the agent you intended, and does not lead to an agent that is still private. If you change the agent's public status later, check the link again before pointing visitors to it.
Where Wix takes custom code
If Wix later gives you a way to serve NetShow's proof file at the exact address, the tag placement is straightforward. In the Wix site dashboard, go to “Settings”, then “Custom Code” in the “Advanced” group, and press “+ Add Custom Code”. Paste the one tag copied from NetShow, choose “All pages”, place it in “Body - end”, and apply. Wix offers custom code only on a site with a connected domain and a plan that includes it. These steps describe where the tag would go; they do not make verification possible on Wix today.
On NetShow's embed page, Step 1 is Paste this tag into your website. Copy code copies a single script tag made for that agent. Step 2 is Add your website and verify it. You enter your site's address under Website address, press Request this site, open Verify ownership and activate chat, and follow the page's instructions for the proof file. NetShow reads that exact file from your domain when you press Verify and activate. The address must open directly as a file, without a redirect. Because Wix cannot serve it there, this final step cannot succeed on a Wix site today.
The Wix “Embed HTML” element puts code inside a boxed frame on a Wix address, rather than on your page, so it is not a way around Verify. Keep the hosted button in place until there is a supported way to complete the file check for your site.
