You can choose how much your AI agent's face and body move while it talks. This is an everyday movement setting, not a change to its words, voice, knowledge or identity. The same agent stays in the conversation at every level.
The setting appears only when the performance cues and performance bindings switches are both lit. If it is not on the Personality page, those switches are off for the page you are using. Nothing has been saved or guessed in their place.
Open the setting
- Sign in and open
/dashboard/agents/your-agent-id/unified, replacingyour-agent-idwith the number in your agent's editor link. - Open the Personality tab.
- Find the movement range under the personality fields.
- Choose a level. The page saves the choice as soon as you change it and shows whether the save worked.
- Open the agent's stage and listen to a short answer to check the result.
If the agent has not been saved before, save the agent first and then choose the range. Only the agent's owner can change it.
Choose a movement range
The three choices on main are off, subtle and full.
- Off keeps the performance layer from adding expressive face and body cues.
- Subtle is the normal house setting. It keeps movement calm and restrained.
- Full allows the complete admitted performance range, which suits a more playful or energetic character.
The setting is still bounded by the device and the moment. Reduced-motion preferences, a focused form, a phone keyboard, an interruption and a move already in progress can all hold movement back. Full means the agent may use the full safe range; it does not promise constant movement.
Decide which big moves are allowed
Dance, little flip, walk and celebration requests have a separate owner boundary. Open
/dashboard/agents/your-agent-id/alive-kit and use the move list there. Keep the moves
that fit the agent and clear the rest, then save.
This separation is deliberate. The movement range controls how expressive ordinary speech can be. The move list controls what a visitor may directly ask the agent to do. A calm agent can still perform one allowed dance when a visitor clearly asks. A lively agent still cannot perform a move its owner removed.
Large moves wait until speech ends. A dance is time-limited, flips are brief, repeated big moves have a cooldown, and a visitor can interrupt. On a reduced-motion screen the agent keeps the response small instead.
Your next step
Start with subtle, test one ordinary answer, and move to off or full only if the agent's job calls for it. Then review its allowed move list and test one direct request. For the visitor's side of that request, read Ask your agent to dance, flip or celebrate.
