What NetShow Alive is

3 min read

NetShow Alive gives an AI agent a character it can move, speak through, and use while it helps on a page. The character is not a recorded presenter. It is the visible part of a live agent.

What is alive

The eyes, mouth, expression, captions, and movement react during the conversation. The agent can also point to a page, show useful material, or guide a visitor to the next place. It always says that it is an AI.

The usual look is a character: simple text, sketch lines, a small toon, or a rigged 2D or 3D character. A human-looking character is an optional look, not the default.

What happens when the page opens

The agent greets first in a visible caption. Browsers often wait for a person's first tap, click, or key press before playing sound; when that happens, the live voice can say the greeting. There is no prerecorded greeting.

What it is not

Alive is not the model that thinks, and it is not a chat bubble. The agent's model, instructions, knowledge, tools, and permissions decide what it can answer and do. Alive is how that agent shows up.
