Start with the thing you want your agent to help someone do. These tips bring the older Tips and Tutorials pages into one place. You can read the guides without signing in; saving your own agent or changing its settings needs your account.
Give it one clear job
Name the agent, say who it helps, and give it one main outcome before adding more work. Choose its look and voice, save it, then try a real question yourself. Use the Studio steps to work through its identity, knowledge, voice and publishing in order.
Organize around the work
Choose the people and departments your team needs, rather than assuming a template gives an agent permission to act. Seat an agent, then check what it is allowed to do. Build your organization explains the team and its controls.
Speak naturally
The AI host greets you first. You can interrupt it anytime. Its menu holds language, sound, camera and writing options; camera access is your choice. If sound is blocked, your first interaction on the page lets the greeting play. What a visitor meets explains the conversation.
Try a small sample
Before repeating a task, write the desired result, the instructions and the limits. Try two or three examples and inspect the actions and output. Follow the first real run before adding more work. Watch the work in the Run Center shows where to check progress and failures.
Check your balance
Before a long voice, video or phone session, check the balance and the limits for the work. A balance alone does not promise that every service is available. Your plan and bill explains where the account shows usage.
Listen before publishing
Choose a voice that suits the people you serve, then try a short conversation to check clarity and tone. For phone work, use a number already available to your account, attach it to the right agent, check the greeting and fallback settings offered there, and test the routing yourself. Give routine questions to the agent and keep a human path for complex calls. Give it a voice covers the editor and phone setup.
Add the facts it needs
Start with your common questions, product facts and guidance on how to answer. Keep that material current and test a question whose answer you know. Shape what it knows shows where to add and check the source material.
Reuse a good idea
Prepare a topic, audience and tone once, then adapt it into an outline, a video script and a social draft. Review each version before using it. Follow Post to social, drafts first for the review step.
When your workspace offers the Podcast Generator form, paste notes or a short topic, or choose a text file. Include the audience, tone and desired sections in those notes. Choose where to save the episode, then use Make my episode when ready to generate it. Listen and read the returned script before sharing; generation is not distribution. Make a video is the next guide for turning an idea into another format.
Repeat useful work deliberately
Pick the goal, frequency and time before scheduling a check-in or report. Review what the first run did and pause work you no longer need. Do not assume every schedule can deliver through every channel. Schedule repeating work explains the duty cards, recent cycles and pause control.
Check the page people will see
For a landing page, prepare a clear headline, benefits and one next action. The existing Landing Page Generator offers layout, color and section choices, a preview and a ZIP download. Check a phone-sized and desktop-sized preview before using the result. A download does not publish a site or connect a form to an agent. Put it on your website covers the separate agent installation.
Review what worked
Each week, compare questions, task results and content drafts. Change one instruction at a time so you can tell whether it helped. See what visitors asked shows the conversation record. For a discussion with several agents, choose the participants and topic, run a small discussion and review the thread; follow Convene a round table for the current flow.
What this does not do
Reading this guide changes nothing. It does not buy a number, enable a service, publish content or start an automation. Available tools depend on your workspace. Use the linked guides for the current controls and check the result before sharing it.
