The character on the page is a live AI agent. It can greet you, listen and answer out loud. Its controls stay out of the way until you ask for them, so there is one small menu instead of a row of buttons around the agent.
You can try the same host on The Alive Presence page. That page is available when Alive Presence is turned on for the site. On another NetShow page, use the live character already there in the same way.
Open the menu
Move your pointer over the agent or tap it to reveal the small hamburger menu button. Tap that button once. On a phone, the menu opens as a sheet that stays inside the screen. On a larger screen, it opens beside the agent.
The first row is always the quick sound row:
- Choose Mute when you do not want to hear the agent. Choose it again to restore sound. This changes the agent’s sound; it does not hide the character.
- Move Volume left for quieter sound or right for louder sound. You can adjust it while the agent is speaking.
You can interrupt the agent anytime. Start speaking while it is talking and the live conversation lets you take the turn. You do not need a talk button, and changing the volume does not stop you from interrupting.
Hide the agent or find the other choices
Choose Hide when you want the character off the page for now. A small show control remains so you can bring the agent back. Hiding the character is not the same as ending or deleting anything.
Choose More for the choices you use less often. That panel is where you can find the camera and language choices, what the agent can do, and movement or position choices that are available on that page. Choose More again to fold those choices away.
The exact rows can vary because a page shows only what its agent can really do. The quick sound row and Hide remain easy to reach.
Close the menu
You have three simple ways to close it:
- choose the X at the top;
- tap or click anywhere outside the menu;
- press Escape on a keyboard.
Closing the menu does not mute, hide or end the agent. It only puts the controls away. Your sound choice stays as you set it for the live session.
Next, learn how to let your agent see what you choose to show, or how to talk in your language.
