Once your agent talks to strangers on your website or its public page, the first week comes down to two questions: what did people ask it, and who left a way to reach them? This guide shows where each answer is listed, what one row tells you, and what a visitor can take back.
These visitor pages are switched on account by account. Each step starts from the button or menu item you see when a page is on for you. If you do not see it, that page is not on for your account yet. If your agent is not on your site yet, start with Put your agent on your website.
1 · Open your agent's Growth page
Open one of your agents and choose Growth in the step bar at the top, after Create, Test Drive and Deploy. The page is headed Growth Dashboard. When visitor pages are on for your account, buttons appear under the step bar: Calls and Questions, and Conversations where that page is on.
2 · Read what visitors asked
Questions lists what visitors asked in the last seven days, most asked first, with a count beside each question. The same question typed in different capitals or punctuation is counted once. The page says Contact details are hidden. An email address or phone number typed inside a question is not shown here.
3 · Open one call and read it
Calls lists one day of conversations, newest first, with the day shown in UTC. Day before and Day after move between days. Each row shows when the call last moved, where it happened, how many turns it had and how long it ran, plus the cost of its metered replies, or not metered when no priced reply was recorded. Read transcript opens the call: each turn is marked Visitor or Agent with its time. A long call shows The first 40 turns are kept. Later turns are counted but not shown. A quiet day says No calls on this day. Calls appear here after visitors speak with your agent.
4 · Find who left their details
The Conversations button, or the Conversations and leads tab beside Calls and Questions, opens the page headed Conversations; Back to Growth returns you. At the top, Leads lists Contacts visitors typed. These details have not been verified. Each card is titled Email, Phone or Email and phone, shows what was typed, then where it happened, for example On the agent's NetShow page or your website's address, and when. Below the leads, every conversation is listed with the visitor's first message. All sites and one button per site narrow the list, and Older conversations loads more. The first time a visitor leaves a contact in a conversation, your account can also get an in-app notice.
If your settings menu shows Visitor and lead links, that page, Connect visitor activity to your leads, links visitor activity to leads you already own. Press Preview matches, tick the box and press Apply preview. Under Privacy mode, choose Standard or Strict, then Save privacy mode. Visitors who send Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track are never linked.
5 · Know what a visitor agreed to
There is no separate contact form here. A visitor leaves details by typing an email address or phone number into the chat, with no tick box in front of it; that is why the page calls them typed and unverified. If your agent's page asks I'm going to remember this so you don't repeat yourself — okay? with Yes and Not now, that answer is about being remembered next time. It is not an agreement to be contacted.
6 · Answer a lead yourself
These pages send nothing. Press Read conversation to see what the visitor asked, then write or call from your own email or phone using the contact on the card. Say where they met your agent and answer what they asked; the contact was typed, so it may be wrong.
7 · Know how long it is kept
The page says Newest first. Conversations expire 30 days after the latest turn. Calls reach back over the same window. The page gives no expiry for a lead card. To remove one, press Delete lead; the page confirms The lead was deleted. The conversation keeps its expiry date.
8 · How a visitor asks to be forgotten
If your agent's chat shows Ask me to forget you near the message box, a visitor can tap it and send, or type forget me. The agent answers I've stopped keeping this, and I'm erasing what I kept. and lists what it erases, including any contact details you left for the site owner. The erasure runs in the background; once it finishes, that browser's lead and conversations leave your pages without anything from you.
What this does not do
This guide does not switch any of these pages on for your account. Nothing here sends a message to a visitor, checks that a typed contact is real, or exports your leads. Deleting a lead does not delete its conversation, and forgetting is the visitor's own request: these pages have no button that forgets someone for them.
