Point your domain at NetShow

Your domain is the address visitors type to reach your business. DNS tells their browser where that address goes. For a NetShow staged business site, the Cloudflare setup uses two website records: one for the domain itself and one for its www address.

Start after NetShow confirms that your staged site is approved for publishing. Have access to your domain's Cloudflare account and the account where you registered the domain. Ask NetShow for the confirmed public IPv4 address of its hosting server. Use the address the team gives you, rather than copying an address from a different website.

Steps in Cloudflare

  1. Sign in to Cloudflare and select your domain. Its nameservers at the domain registrar must be the nameservers Cloudflare assigned to this domain. If they are not set yet, finish that setup with the person who manages your domain before changing the website records.

  2. Open the domain's DNS Records page. Choose Add record, then type A. Set the name to @, which means the domain without www. For the IPv4 address, enter NetShow's confirmed server address. Set the proxy status to Proxied, shown by the orange cloud, and save the record.

  3. Add a record of type CNAME. Set its name to www. Set its target to your own domain name, without https://, www or a page path. Set this record to Proxied too, and save. This sends the www address to the same place as the main address. If either website record already exists, check its replacement with your domain manager rather than adding a conflicting one.

  4. Arrange the secure connection with NetShow. In Cloudflare's SSL/TLS settings, the publishing instructions use Full until the server certificate is in place, then Full (strict). NetShow prepares the certificate on its server; confirm that it is ready before selecting the strict setting. You do not need to put server files or certificate keys into a chat.

  5. Tell NetShow that the two records are saved. The team must publish your approved staged site and prepare the server to answer both your domain and its www address. For the app's domain-based serving path, the fleet serving switch is off by default and must be enabled by NetShow. There is no owner button in this guide that switches it on.

DNS alone does not publish your site

A saved record points an address at a server. It does not copy your staged site there or make an unpublished site live. Wait for the team's publishing confirmation, then open your domain with https:// and open its www address too. You should see your own business name, offers and AI host. The host must identify itself as an AI.

If you see a different page or a certificate warning, send the team the exact address and what you see through the contact page. Keep your existing email records as they are; these website steps do not set up or move your mailbox.

Next: Launch an agentic business site for the visitor checks after publishing.
