The live character is an AI agent. Your agent starts with your browser or phone language when that language is supported. Its visible hello and its live voice use the same choice, so you do not have to hunt for a setting before you can begin.
You can meet the host on The Alive Presence page when Alive Presence is turned on for the site. The same language choice travels with the one live-agent menu on other Alive Kit pages.
What happens when the page opens
The agent checks the language in this order:
- a language you already chose in this browser tab;
- a language set for that site or agent;
- your browser or phone language;
- English when the earlier choices are not supported.
The current menu offers English, Español, Français, Deutsch, Português and Italiano. If your device uses another language, the agent starts in English rather than guessing.
The greeting appears as a caption straight away. Where live voice is available, the same language is sent to the NetShow voice session. You can interrupt the agent anytime and speak naturally; you do not need to press and hold a talk control.
Choose a different language
- Open the small hamburger menu beside the agent.
- Choose More.
- Find Language.
- Pick the language you want.
Before the agent has spoken, its visible greeting changes immediately. During a live session, the voice session is told to continue in the new language. The camera walkthrough and the menu’s own words follow the same selection where translations are available.
Your choice is kept for this browser tab. It does not rewrite the language of your account or every website you visit. A different tab can start from its own site or browser language.
If the answer is in the wrong language
Open Language and choose again. If there is no live voice on that page, the caption can still follow the choice even though no sound plays. If a site has set a language for its host, your explicit menu choice takes priority for this tab.
If the language you need is not in the list, continue in English for now rather than relying on an unlisted translation. The guide describes only the six choices currently present in the live agent menu.
