Share your agent: the link, the card and the phone code

4 min read

Once your agent is public, the fastest way to bring a first visitor is to send one person its link. This guide walks through the link, the ready-to-send sentence, the phone code and how to stop sharing, using the labels exactly as the pages show them.

  1. Make sure the agent is public. Open the agent, then its Deploy page, and find the Visibility card. If it reads Private — not published yet, nobody else can open the agent, and no link or code below will load for them. Press Publish agent, then Yes, publish to confirm. The card then reads Public — your embed is live. Publish it explains what publishing switches on.

  2. Copy the link. When one of your agents is public, your dashboard home can show a card headed Share followed by the agent's name, with the line that it is public and that you can send the link to one person. The box holds the agent's public page address, which ends in /agent/ and the agent's short name. Press Copy link and paste it wherever you talk to people. If you have several public agents, the card shows the one you changed most recently. If your home has no such card, use the Deploy page instead: on the Hosted Share Link card press Get Share Link, then Copy Link under Direct link. That hosted link is a different address from the public page, and it works for sharing too. Open Link and Open its public page let you check what a visitor will see before you send anything.

  3. Copy the ready sentence. Under the link, the card writes one sentence for you, in the shape "Meet (your agent's name), my AI agent: (the link)". Press Copy beside it and paste it into a text, an email or a post you write yourself. The card confirms the copy underneath; if your browser does not allow copying, it asks you to copy by hand instead, and the text in the box can be selected in one tap.

  4. Show the phone code, where you have it. When the card shows a square code captioned Open it on your phone beside the link, anyone who points a phone camera at it opens a short address, /go/ followed by the agent's short name, which forwards straight to the same public page. The code carries that public address only: nothing about you and nothing about whoever scans it. The Deploy page draws the code too, in its Quick access QR block under Direct link. Read the words beside it: if they say that anyone who points a phone camera at the code opens your agent, it is the real code. If they call it a placeholder for internal testing, do not print it or pass it on; share the link instead. If there is no code on your home card, the phone code is not available to you yet, and the link does the same job.

  5. Know what a visitor meets first. The link opens the page a stranger sees: the agent's name and face at the top and a section headed Talk to and its name, where the conversation starts. Your agent can open that conversation with a first line you write; set it as shown in Give it a voice that speaks first. Make that line say plainly that it is an AI agent, for example "I'm (name), an AI agent.", so nobody who follows your link is left wondering who they are talking to. Open the page yourself before you send the link.

  6. Stop sharing when you want. Go back to the Visibility card and press Make private. The public page, the hosted link and the phone code then stop opening for anyone else: an old link or an old code answers as a page that is not found. The share card leaves your home, because it only shows public agents. Publishing again opens them back up.

What this does not do

Nothing here sends a message for you. The copy buttons put text on your own clipboard, and you choose who receives it; no page posts to a social account or writes to anyone on your behalf. To draft posts, see Post to social media, drafts first. This guide does not publish a private agent by itself, rename the agent's short name, or pick which public agent the home card shows. It does not put the agent on your own website; that is the embed code in Put your agent on your website. And it does not promise the phone code: the code appears only where the page draws it, and the link always works while the agent is public.
