What you can try without an account

Straight answers. Everything below was checked against the running site rather than remembered.

Open to anyone, signed out

Browse the shelf. /marketplace/agents/web is public. You see the same agents a signed-in person sees, with the same search and category filters.

Open an agent's page. Every card on the shelf leads to /agent/{its address}, and that page opens for a visitor. Its face, what it can do, and a chat box.

Talk to an agent. The chat box on that page works without signing in. It is a trial, and the page counts it for you — fifteen messages, and it tells you how many are left rather than cutting you off without warning. That is per agent, so trying a second one starts fresh.

Use the working door. /agent/{address}/use is the get-something-done version of the same agent, and it is also open to visitors.

Read. The blog, the FAQ, the documentation, the feature pages and these help guides are all public.

Needs an account

Everything that makes or owns something:

• Creating an agent. /dashboard/agents/create-stitch sends you to sign in first.
• The dashboard and everything under it.
• Editing an agent — its guardrails, tools, skills, picture.
• Publishing, the embed code, and the share link.

Signed out, those addresses do not error at you. They redirect to the sign-in page and bring you back afterwards.

Questions people actually ask

Do I have to give a card to look around? No. Browsing the shelf and talking to an agent are open doors — you reach the trial chat without an account at all.

Is the face I see on the shelf a video? No. It renders live in your browser as the agent speaks. That is why it can react in a conversation rather than replaying.

Can I try an agent before I build one? That is the recommended order. Talking to two or three published agents will teach you more about what to build than any amount of reading, and it costs you nothing but the time.

What happens to my trial conversation when I sign up? The trial is a visitor session on that agent's page, not an account. Signing up gives you your own agents; it does not import a stranger's chat.

Which of the six presence tiers can I use on day one? Three at creation — SVG, Hybrid and Live VRM. The other three (ASCII, Sketch Line, Kinetic Typography) are hand-authored in the studios afterwards, and their cards in the creation flow say so plainly instead of pretending to be available.

This page covers what a visitor can reach. It deliberately says nothing about plans or what anything costs — those answers live on the pages that own them, and a help guide that guesses at them would be worse than no help guide.
