GoDaddy Website Builder gives you a place to add an “HTML” section, but it does not let you put NetShow's tag on your own page today. The section runs pasted code inside a boxed frame served from a GoDaddy address. The builder also gives you no place to publish NetShow's required file at /.well-known/netshow-origin.txt on your site. That means the tag cannot pass the website check or answer visitors on your Website Builder page. Use a button to your agent's hosted page instead.

Make the agent ready
Your agent needs to be public before a visitor can open its hosted page. If it is still private, Publish it walks through that step. Publishing does not change the agent's face, voice, instructions, or other settings. Once it is public, open that agent's Deploy page in your NetShow dashboard.
On the Deploy page, choose the Hosted Share Link card. It says that a direct link to your agent needs no website. Use Copy Link to copy the address shown under Direct link, then open it yourself in a new tab to check that it reaches the agent you meant to share. Use the address from your own card; another agent's link will lead visitors to that other agent.
Add a button in Website Builder
In GoDaddy Website Builder, edit the page where visitors should find your agent. Add a “Button”, give it a clear label such as “Meet our agent”, and set its destination to the address you copied from Hosted Share Link. Save and publish the page, then open the public page and press the button. Check that it opens the agent's hosted page. A visitor can use that link on a phone or computer without your Website Builder page running a script.
Put the button near the part of the page where a visitor would want help, such as a service description or contact area. If you want the link on several pages, add a button on each of those pages or use a navigation link if your builder offers one. Keep the agent's link unchanged when you paste it. The button sends visitors to NetShow's own page for that agent; it does not place the agent inside the GoDaddy page.
Why the code box does not solve this
Your NetShow embed page may show Paste this tag into your website and Copy code. That tag is meant for a page whose HTML you control. It loads the agent from NetShow and uses your agent's own slug. Its next step, Add your website and verify it, asks for a Website address. After Request this site, the Verify ownership and activate chat panel shows exact text to publish in a file at your site's /.well-known/netshow-origin.txt; Verify and activate checks that address directly.
Website Builder's “HTML” section is boxed into a frame from a GoDaddy address. It does not give the tag the page context it needs, and Website Builder does not offer the required file path on your site. Pasting the tag into that section therefore cannot make the agent reply on your page. A tag pasted before a site is verified can show a bubble, but the embed page says it tells visitors the door is closed instead of replying. Do not send visitors to that closed door; give them the hosted link.
GoDaddy WordPress hosting and plain web hosting are different from Website Builder.
