Delete your account and your data

You can delete an agent yourself, right now. Deleting your whole account, or what we keep about a visit, is done by a person on our team when you ask. This guide shows both, one step at a time.

Delete one agent

  1. Sign in. Open the menu under your name and choose My Agents.

  2. Find the agent you want to delete. Press the gear button on its card; when you point at it, it says Classic Edit. The agent's settings page opens.

  3. Scroll to the bottom of that page and press Delete Agent.

  4. Read before you decide. The confirm page counts what goes under What goes with it and lists the other places under Also removed. Type the agent's name exactly as the page shows it, then press Delete permanently. Changed your mind? Press the Keep button instead. On some accounts a small box asks Are you sure? instead of a page; press Yes, delete it! only if you are.

Deleting cannot be undone. The agent, its settings and what it remembers go at the same moment, and its public page stops answering.

Delete your whole account

  1. Write to support@netshow.ai from the email address on your account. Say: "Please delete my NetShow account and its agents." There is no delete-account button yet, so a person on our team does it from your message. You can use the contact page instead: fill in Your name and Email (the one on your account), pick Security / Privacy as the Topic, write your request in Message, then press Send message.

  2. If you pay for a plan, ask us to stop it in the same message. See Cancel your plan, step by step.

Ask us to forget a visit

  1. If you talked to one of our agents without an account, open the privacy page on the same browser. Your choices says what you can do. When it shows a Forget me button, that button erases what we keep about this browser. When it does not, email the same address and say which website you were on and roughly when.

Conversations with our own agents are also deleted on their own after a while; the privacy page says how long under How long we keep it.

What this does not do

Deleting an agent does not delete your account, and stopping a paid plan does not delete anything. Characters you already downloaded stay on your own computer; see Who owns the characters you make. Never put a password or a card number in your message.
